On October 19, 2017, the 4th annual Rocks & Stocks Professional Development Day took place with a sold-out audience. Presented by MES and CIM Toronto, ten experts addressed how the mining industry can be smarter in terms of innovation, operations and design; underground production systems; imperatives and disconnects of the digital era; conquering uncertainty; and financing faster, among other topics.
The day was made richer by our attendees and their comments and questions after each session and in the lively panel discussion that concluded the event.
The networking continued into the evening at the Grubstake event.
