Making Tailings Coarse Again: " Mining technologies that coarsen the size and reduce the quantity of tailings"

Thursday April 2, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m

As mining technology advances, it makes sense to step back and re-asses how we view project design and economics.  Many deposits could save CAPEX and OPEX by adopting new technologies like ore sorting, coarse flotation, co disposal etc.  A byproduct would be the elimination of their tailings pond, or at least  a dramatically smaller pond.  This talk will look at global mining data as well as data from specific operation's test programs, and consider the impact on Greenfield and Brownfield operations.

Register - Note: Web link to the webinar will be emailed to registrants the morning of April 2nd.
