Instability Along the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon

Numerous slope instabilities (landslides) have occurred along the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River within the City of Saskatoon. This presentation will outline the locations of significant landslides in Saskatoon and discuss the various failure mechanisms for the landslides. Case histories of several recent landslides along Saskatchewan Crescent will be reviewed.
